Facebook Pixel Plus for PrestaShop

Facebook Pixel Plus connects your PrestaShop store to Meta's advertising platform by firing the right events at the right moments — both from the browser (Pixel) and from your server (Conversions API). The dual-channel approach means your purchase data reaches Meta even when browser ad blockers or iOS privacy restrictions would otherwise block it.
What You Can Do
- Track all standard Meta events automatically: ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Purchase, and more
- Send events server-side via the Conversions API (CAPI) for higher match quality and ad blocker bypass
- Use Advanced Matching to enrich events with hashed customer data (email, phone, name) for better attribution
- Sync your product catalog with Facebook and Instagram for dynamic ads and Shopping campaigns
- Configure GDPR consent gating so events only fire after the customer accepts cookies
- Debug event delivery with built-in logging and integration with the Facebook Pixel Helper
Getting Started
- Go to Modules > Module Manager, find Facebook Pixel Plus, and click Configure
- Add your Pixel ID — follow the Pixel ID Configuration guide
- (Recommended) Set up Conversions API with your Meta access token for server-side tracking

Guides
Getting Started
📄️ Pixel Setup
Connect your PrestaShop store to Facebook/Meta so that every visitor action — page views, product views, add-to-cart, purchases — is tracked and available for ad targeting and reporting in Meta Ads Manager.
📄️ Connect Your Pixel ID
Configure your Facebook Pixel ID in Pixel Plus for PrestaShop — find your ID, add multiple pixels, and enable event individualization for accurate ads tracking.
📄️ Conversion API (CAPI)
Learn how to configure the Facebook Conversion API (CAPI) in the Pixel Plus module for PrestaShop to track events with server-to-server integration.
📄️ Domain Verification
Prove to Meta that you own your store's domain so you can use Aggregated Event Measurement and the Conversion API — Pixel Plus injects the verification tag for you.
📄️ Test Mode
Limit pixel and Conversion API events to your own IP address so you can configure and test without sending data for real visitors.
Events & Tracking
📄️ Trackable Events
Complete reference of every Facebook event tracked by Pixel Plus — what triggers each event, when to enable it, and how Meta uses it for ads optimization.
📄️ Purchase Event (Advanced)
Control exactly when Pixel Plus sends the Purchase event — validated-only tracking, deferred payments, basic mode for custom checkouts, and duplicate prevention.
📄️ Checkout Step Events
Track each step of the PrestaShop checkout funnel with Meta events — InitiateCheckout, CheckoutAddressStep, AddShippingInfo, and AddPaymentInfo — to optimize ad delivery.
📄️ Refund Event
Track refunded and cancelled PrestaShop orders with a custom Meta CAPI event. Useful for refund visibility, exclusion audiences and custom conversions — but Meta does not auto-correct ROAS or Purchase value.
📄️ Advanced Matching
Send hashed customer data with Meta pixel and CAPI events to improve attribution, increase match quality scores, and build more accurate audiences in Ads Manager.
📄️ Event Match Quality
If your browsing events score around 4 and your Purchase events score around 8, your tracking is working correctly.
📄️ Microdata
Automatically inject the structured product data that Meta requires for dynamic ads and that search engines use to understand your product pages.
📄️ Deferred Pixel Loading
Delay the Meta Pixel script until after the page is fully loaded to improve initial page performance and Core Web Vitals scores.

Catalogue & Products
📄️ Options & Catalogue
Product Options & Catalogue
📄️ Product Identifier Type
Choose which product identifier — product ID or reference/SKU — Pixel Plus sends as content_ids in Meta events, and why it matters for catalogue matching.
📄️ Catalogue Match Rate
Find out why Meta's catalogue match rate is low, see which product ID your pixel and your catalogue each use, and make them identical.
📄️ Reference Diagnostics
Scan your product catalogue for missing or duplicate reference fields that would break dynamic ad matching when you identify products by their SKU rather than their PrestaShop ID.
📄️ Google Taxonomy
Assign standardised product categories to your store's PrestaShop categories so Meta can correctly classify your products for shopping ads and dynamic retargeting campaigns.
📄️ Create a Meta Catalogue from Pixel
Learn how to automatically generate a Facebook (Meta) product catalogue directly from Pixel Plus events and your microdata configuration in PrestaShop.
📄️ Auto-Sync Products via Pixel
Set up the Facebook Pixel as a product catalog source in Pixel Plus — configure microdata and ViewContent events to auto-sync with Facebook and Instagram.
📄️ Let Meta's Crawler In
Your pixel events work but the catalogue stays empty or the feed is rejected? Check whether Cloudflare or your server firewall is blocking Meta's crawler, and create a safe exception.
Privacy & Data
📄️ Cookie Consent
Integrate Pixel Plus with your cookie consent banner so the Facebook pixel only fires after a visitor has explicitly agreed to tracking.
📄️ IP Address Settings
Configure how visitor IP addresses are captured and sent to Facebook through Pixel and CAPI. Understand Raw IP, IPv6 detection, and Force IPv6 options.
📄️ Customer Export
Export your customer and newsletter subscriber email addresses as a CSV file, then upload that file to Meta Ads Manager to build Custom Audiences for retargeting and Lookalike Audience campaigns.
📄️ Statistics Token
Your Pixel Insights dashboard can tell you how good your tracking signal is straight away.
