Videos for Products for PrestaShop
Videos for Products lets you embed video content directly on your PrestaShop product pages — from YouTube, Vimeo, self-hosted HTML5 files, or any platform via custom iFrame. Videos appear inside the product image gallery alongside your photos, giving customers richer product context without leaving the page.
What You Can Do
- Embed videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, and other major platforms with a simple URL paste
- Host your own video files (MP4 / HTML5) and display them without relying on third-party platforms
- Use custom iFrame code to embed video from any source not natively supported
- Manage videos across hundreds of products at once using the Mass Video Management tool
- Generate static placeholder thumbnail images for products that have videos but no photos
Getting Started
- Go to Modules > Module Manager, find Videos for Products, and click Configure
- Choose your preferred video provider(s) — see the Video Providers guide for a full comparison
- Open a product in the back office and add a video URL in the Videos tab
- For large catalogs, use the Mass Video Management tool to add or update videos in bulk
